Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Stephanie W. Brevard is a visionary leader, multi-business owner, and community advocate dedicated to empowering youth, families, and communities through education, service, and resilience-building initiatives. In 2018, she founded Iron Sharp Inc., a nonprofit organization designed to support at-risk and justice-involved youth through programs that foster empowerment, growth, and healing.

With over a decade of executive experience across nonprofit and corporate sectors, Stephanie has built a career rooted in servant leadership and impact-driven innovation. She also serves as Co-Founder and Chief Officer of Services & Operations at Pathfinders Resources, Inc., where she oversees statewide operations that has supported over 500 youth and families across Virginia. Her expertise spans program development, team leadership, strategic partnerships, and evidence-based service design.

Throughout her career, Stephanie has cultivated strategic partnerships with over 25 cities and counties, including the Department of Juvenile Justice, Departments of Social Services, and multiple school districts. These collaborations have strengthened access to vital community resources, enhanced program delivery, and expanded opportunities for youth and families across multiple states. Her ability to unite organizations under a shared vision has been instrumental in driving measurable community impact and sustainable growth. 

A proud graduate of North Carolina A&T State University, Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and multiple certifications in youth services, trauma-informed care, and human trafficking intervention. Her leadership extends beyond her organizations—she has served on multiple community boards, contributed to youth policy initiatives, and presented at professional conferences on topics including leadership, youth engagement, and restorative practices.

Driven by faith and a deep commitment to advocacy, Stephanie believes in the power of transformation through connection, compassion, and accountability. Through Iron Sharp, she continues to create spaces that build strong character, sharpen resilience, and promote a passion for lifelong growth.
